The Week In Facebook

This is a weekly feature which will document some of the geneablogger happenings as they relate to Facebook®.

– Can you believe that we’ve added 18 new members since last week?  Our total is now at 367 and we seem to average about 15 new members a week on a consistent basis.

– Check out Genea-Bloggers group listing on Facebook. If you know anyone who blogs about their genealogy or family history and you think they might benefit from membership in Geneabloggers please let me know and send me their email info!

– Upcoming carnivals include: 14th Edition of the Cabinet of Curiosities due on Sunday, February 15th and the 66th Edition of the Carnival of Genealogy with entries also due on Sunday, February 15th.

– Don’t forget Weekly Genealogy Blogging Prompt #6: Let readers in to your kitchen. Discuss your family’s favorite foods. What was a typical Sunday dinner in your childhood house? What did grandma make that had you coming back for more? Were there any dishes that the dog wouldn’t even eat?

Again, if anyone has a question as to how to use Facebook, I’d be happy to help. You can always email me directly but if you post your question as a Discussion Topic at the Genea-Bloggers group, you might find that other members also have the same questions.
