TLC Reveals Celebrities for Spring 2015 Season of Who Do You Think You Are?

TLC has revealed the list of celebrities for the Spring 2015 season of Who Do You Think You Are? which starts on 8 March 2015!

TLC ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL CELEBRITY CONTRIBUTORS FOR SPRING SEASON OF “Who Do You Think You Are?” ON TLC

New episodes return Sunday, March 8 at 10/9c

Who Do You Think You Are? returns this spring to give eight new celebrities a unique opportunity to dig into their roots and learn more about their family history. The two-time Emmy nominated series is Executive Produced by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky. New episodes begin Sunday, March 8 at 10/9c.

Today TLC announces the additional featured contributors for the upcoming episodes:

  • Melissa Etheridge, who heads to Quebec to trace the history of her paternal side, learns about the scandalous marriage of her 6x great-grandparents.
  • America Ferrera, who brings the series to Honduras for the first time ever, learns about the father she barely knew, and unravels her great-grandfather’s role in the violent Central American political system.
  • Tony Goldwyn, who is familiar with his prestigious paternal Hollywood lineage, but knows little about his mother’s side of the family. In his episode, he comes to learn about his 3x great-grandparents, who fought for women’s rights and westward expansion.
  • Josh Groban, who discovers his 8x great-grandfather was a highly educated and renowned scientist that studied astronomy, and was quoted by Isaac Newton himself.

Previously announced celebrity contributors include Julie Chen, Angie Harmon, Bill Paxton and Sean Hayes. The episodic air order is currently scheduled as:

New Celebrities Get the Experience of a Lifetime on New Season of “Who Do You Think You Are?” on TLC

TLC has revealed the list of celebrities for the new season of Who Do You Think You Are? which starts on February 24, 2015!

We just received this announcement from our contact over at TLC! Who Do You Think You Are? Executive Producer Lisa Kudrow will appear on ‘The Talk’ where co-host Julie Chen teases her involvement in the show. Below is a clip from the segment as well as a teaser for the upcoming season below.

All-new season set to premiere February 24 

The two-time Emmy nominated series is back with eight new hour-long episodes and a brand new batch of celebrity contributors. Executive Produced by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? continues to shed light on the mysterious, and often surprising, family histories of some of America’s famous faces. The season premieres Tuesday, February 24 at 10/9c.

Today TLC announces half of the featured celebrity contributors in the upcoming season, which includes:

  • Julie Chen, who brings the series to China for the first time ever and learns about her grandfather’s brave and generous contributions to his country.
  • Angie Harmon, who meets a family member she didn’t know existed, and learns that he fought under George Washington.
  • Sean Hayes, who travels to Ireland to learn more about his father’s side of the family.
  • Bill Paxton, who reads captivating first-hand accounts of wartime battles in which his four times great grandfather was involved, and walks in his footsteps at the site where he fought a battle in the American Revolution.
