Genealogy Blogging Beat – Sunday 30 March 2014

Debuting on 30 March 1964, the “thinking person’s” game show, “Jeopardy!” has a reputation as an intelligent and classy program. Art Fleming was the original host of the show, in which three contestants won cash by giving the correct questions to answers in six different categories. Contestants go through two rounds and “final jeopardy,” where they can wager up to all their earnings on one question. The series returned in 1984 with Alex Trebek as the popular host.
