I have a 19 year old and 14 year old. Blogging has never been hip for them. They are not interested in tweeting. Texting and facebook continue to be the rage for them. I believe at this stage its just about friends, staying connected, a place of their own with no parents to interfere. So parents invade the blogging world, and the kids move out. And yes parents are taking over facebook, and I believe you will soon see the kids moving out. Parents will never be hip in the eyes of their children. Sad but true. Still 21 in my mind.

Blogging Not Hip????? I am a blogger and I am one of the coolest, hippiest, grooviest people I know!

However, as of next month I will be in the over 50 group and I did notice that the poll didn't even ask about my age group. So I guess there is no need for me to get all riled up. But you know us hip, kool, groovy people tend to be a little high strung LOL

It is interesting isn't it? (re younger people not blogging as much). It appears there are other more immediate ways to socially connect.
