I am one of those "mixed" people - someone with a lot of genealogy experience in my area, while being a neophyte blogger. I enjoy being part of a collaborative community - which is slowly nurturing a distinctive "geneablogger culture". I've experienced this type of growth with a non-profit organization called KIVA, where I've very active in a forum (KIVAFRIENDS) as well as KIVAPEDIA. The two complement each other quite well as I'm sure your new project will too.
